Brett Steil
I am currently a DDY board member seeking reelection. I’ve been on the board for the past 4 years serving as Treasurer. I have a daughter and a son currently playing with DDY. I grew up in the Houston area. I attended the University of Houston where I received a BBA majoring in Accounting and minoring in Spanish. I have worked in the oil and gas industry for the last 21 years. Over that time, I’ve worked in several roles withing Account and Finance departments. I love soccer. I’ve played it since I can remember and still get out and play now. When my kids were younger, I volunteered to coach their team and did so for a combined 9 seasons. I also enjoy volunteering and helping where I can. I’ve spent time volunteering as a Sunday school teacher as well as volunteering with organizations like Young Life.

David Smith
My love for the game started as an Army brat, playing for Heidelberg High School and Heidelberg HG. Playing at St. Mary's University, I received a BBA in Marketing Management, which is also where I began coaching soccer, for the University's first women's teams. I coached my daughters and their teammates for 15 years; it was a wonderful experience.  Volunteering to serve as Treasurer, VP, then as President of our club, I began to understand all of the work that is required to provide a "great experience" for our kids. The growth in our sport will require more vision than ever before, I hope to be a part of the "beautiful game" by continuing to volunteer for our club.  Having served as Mayor of Friendswood, President of the local Rotary Club and several other 501(C)3 organizations, I will put my experience to work for our club's future.

Derek Campbell
I have been a member of the club since 2015 and prior to that was the President of Montgomery Soccer Club. I worked with the club at that time to merge operations of Montgomery Soccer Club under Dynamo/Dash Youth Soccer club.  I have been a board member since 2015. All my kids previously played competitive soccer with the organization. I have been a volunteer and coach in past years with Dynamo/Dash.  Soccer has been a part of my life since I was 4 years old and continue to be around the sport. I am very passionate about the sport and love helping grow the game in any way I can. I look forward to continuing to serve the club as a board member for the foreseeable future.

Morgan Culbreth
My husband, Cade, and I live in Montgomery, Texas with our three children, Carter (12), Grayson (11) and Kathryn (7). I have proudly served on the board of the Houston Dynamo/Dash Youth Soccer Club for the past 4 years. I graduated from the University of Houston Law Center in 2007 and currently work as a corporate attorney for Patterson-UTI Management Services.  As a mother of three, I understand the value that sports, such as soccer, bring to children’s lives both on and off the field.  Sportsmanship, dedication, discipline, and teamwork are a few of the many life lessons learned through sports. I strongly believe in giving back to the community by investing time in children’s lives and would consider it an honor to do so by continuing to serve as a board member for the club.  Thank you for your consideration.

The election runs from May 15 to May 25, 2022.
