Brett Steil
I am currently a DDY board member seeking reelection.  I’ve been on the board for the past 4 years serving as Treasurer.  I have a daughter and a son currently playing with DDY. I grew up in the Houston area.  I attended the University of Houston where I received a BBA majoring in Accounting and minoring in Spanish.  I have worked in the oil and gas industry for the last 21 years.  Over that time, I’ve worked in several roles within the Accounting and Finance departments. I love soccer.  I’ve played it since I can remember and still get out and play now.  When my kids were younger, I volunteered to coach their teams and did so for a combined 9 seasons. I also enjoy volunteering and helping where I can.  I’ve spent time volunteering as a Sunday school teacher as well as volunteering with organizations like Young Life.

David Knox
David Knox has been on the HDDY Board since 2015. He seen the club go through many changes since his boys started playing here in 2006.  David has 4 boys that have played at various levels in the club from recreational to the Developmental Academy.  Three of his boys have played in the Youth Academy, 2 of them went on to play in the Developmental Academy and one of them went on to play Division 1 soccer at Virginia Military Institute.  His youngest son is currently playing in the Youth Academy.  He has been a recreational coach, a team manager, a chaperone for multiple trips, and works alongside his wife (Stacey) ensuring scoring is correct at tournaments.  The club has changed a lot over the years and David looks forward to helping the organization meet the needs of the community and continue to develop players.

Jessica Waters
Jessica Waters has been an active member of the Dynamo/Dash Youth Club since 2017, when her son began in the recreational program, and has served on the DDY Board of Directors since 2019. She has appreciated the opportunities and experiences the game has provided. She was part of her high school and club state championship team, a student-athlete at SFASU, and continues to play in an adult league with her husband.

Her son currently plays in the DDY Youth Academy program and enjoys coaching her daughter’s team in the DDY recreational program. Jessica is a committed member of her community and an advocate for youth. She works as a School Counselor in Conroe ISD. She would like to continue helping the club keep its mission and core values at the forefront. Jessica is invested in the club as a parent, coach, and community member.

Julian Eddy
Julian fell in love with soccer at an early age, growing up playing in the streets of Barcelona and developing a passion that led him to a standout collegiate career at Clarkson University in New York, where he was voted captain by his teammates and still ranks among the top scorers 35 years later.

Since then, Julian has continued his active involvement in the sport, focusing on the expansion and development of youth soccer. Besides managing and coaching his two son’s recreational teams, Julian coached numerous competitive boys and girls U11-U19 teams and is familiar with the day-to-day operations of clubs like the Houston Dynamo Dash. Professionally, Julian is the founder and President of HiTemp Materials, an international distributor and fabricator of industrial materials, and has over 30 years of experience managing large organizations. Julian also serves as a board member of Recyclekids org, a non-profit that houses, feeds, and educates disadvantaged children in Colombia.

Kevin Bourbonnais
Experienced C suite executive, and Board member, currently serving as President & CEO of Allied Reliability a Capstreet Private Equity sponsored company. Over 25 years working with both large and medium sized enterprises, in various industries, focused on building value with a passion for strategy & growth. I am interested in bringing these experiences to the nonprofit sector and specifically with the Houston Dynamo/Dash Youth Soccer Club. I believe my experiences in industry are transferable to this board position and I can think of nothing more rewarding than helping the club’s management team in their pursuit of continued growth and positioning of the club in the years to come. I have a passion for soccer, having represented Canada internationally, and our daughters have been involved in the club for the last 12 years. I look forward to the opportunity to give back to the club in this position.

The election runs from May 15 to May 31, 2021.
